We never stop improving! To make life easier for the event secretariat, the scoring office, and all the amazing volunteers out in the field, we’ve just rolled out a powerful new set of features.
Here is what’s new in DigiProtocol:
💻 In the Show Office application
- Ultimate Clarity on the Vet-Check: We’ve added a brand-new “VET” column. Using clear icons (checkmarks, crosses, and clocks), the secretariat can see at a single glance whether a rider is approved, eliminated, or yet to report.
- Smart Elimination Alerts: If a combination gets eliminated based on live results (e.g., 4+ refusals), their row instantly turns light orange. This automatically alerts the finish-line phone so they know the rider is likely not coming.
- Who is on course? Right next to the finish time, there is now a small indicator showing exactly if and when a rider has started. The finish team knows exactly who to expect next!

📱 In the Vet-Check App
- No More Missing Data with Digital Signatures: We noticed that sometimes riders do complete their vet check, but it gets missed in the registration hustle. Organizations can now choose to require signatures. The competitor signs for both inspections, providing rock-solid proof they were there.
🗺️ For Fence Judges & Officials
- Compulsory Passages (CP): In addition to standard obstacles, the system now fully supports Compulsory Passages. Fence judges at locations like CP1 can now flawlessly report ‘clear’ or ‘incorrect course’.
- Faster Setup for Volunteers: Based on your feedback, we completely overhauled the login and registration process. Volunteers can now select all their assigned fences before the first horse starts. As soon as the class begins, their screen is live and ready to go!
⚙️ Behind the Scenes
- Upgraded Equipe API: We completely rebuilt our Equipe integration and moved it to a faster, more stable server. Results now sync between DigiProtocol and Equipe with even greater speed and reliability.
With these updates, we’re making cross-country sport safer, smoother, and more efficient for everyone involved.
